I really dislike McKayla. It looks like a made-up spelling or a surname. I much prefer the original spelling Michaela. Miles is really cool.

Miles (this spelling) is a pretty name. I more prefer Milo. Replacing the letter i with y is a dated trend that has already run its course..I would probably avoid M names unless there’s something that really speaks to you. They’re human beings, after all, not a tea set.
But McKayla is horrible spelling. What is it? Surname or a birth name? What about these?Miles and Artemis

I don't like when they start with the same letter. I also prefer the spellings Makayla and Miles.

Miles (this spelling) is a wonderful name. Why not pick something with a similar simplicity and history to go with it? Replacing the letter i with y is a dated trend that has already run its course, and McNames were right behind.I would probably avoid M names unless there’s something that really speaks to you, to avoid making them sound too matchy. They’re human beings, after all, not a tea set. What aboutMiles and Alice

I feel as though they would be better spelled "Michaela" and "Miles". Still a little matchy for my taste, however.

McKayla is horrible, put together out of left-overs; OK, Michaela is dated, but then why not just go retro, or use something else? It's not as if there was a world-wide shortage of girl names! Myles is not a favourite, though I do know a nice one; but it has historical status. It shows trendoid McKayla up for what it is: fake and flimsy.

McKayla is butt ugly, and next to Myles it's just sad

I prefer Makayla, don't like Myles esp that spelling and hate siblings with the same initial

I like Myles, but I will never understand this spelling of McKayla. I actually like many of the variations of Michaela, but McKayla, MacKayla, and Makayla will never make sense to me. My favourite spelling is Mikaela. Overall, though, they're both solid names. I don't hate them.

I think they wanted to match it with the y. I like Michaela.
