An unconvincing merger between Michelle and Michaela, either of which is preferable. Anyone named Michella would spend her life explaining what her name wasn't!

I love it. It needs more love. But it seems that whenever I bring it up online anywhere people generally just prefer Michelle, which feels dated & overly ordinary to me. The only problem with it being that because Michella is so uncommon and Michelle so common mixups are basically inevitable. As a result it's probably more practical as a middle. But regardless I love it as a first name. I could envision a Michella just fine. I like the idea of Michella Angelique, Michella Annmarie, Michella Cataline, etc.
