Patricia
Well, it used to be a very popular name around the 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s. Does it really need a comeback? What do you think of the name Patricia?

I was struck by the number of people my age that I encountered with this name in college, in particular. I'm not 30, and it seems most women named Patricia are in later middle age if not older.I think it's perfectly fine, but I concur with another person, the nicknames really let it down. Patty / Patsy / Pat are all not great; Tricia / Trisha is somewhat better but still not great. As far as a comeback.... maybe? At some point?

It is very beautiful, but its nns let it down. Pat, Patsy, Patty, Tish, Trish, Tricia ... no. Just, no. It would make a gorgeous mn!

I like it. I think the name sounds patriotic and the syllables flow good with each other. I think it needs a comeback.

I've been thinking about Patricia a lot lately! I find it lovely and refreshing, though I grew up in the 90s and didn't know any Patricias my age. I like that the name is patently noble ("patrician") but totally accessible, and I love the nicknames Trix and Trixie.
