Maple
I was just reading his poem today by Robert Frost, and I couldn’t help but think of Maple as a name and how sweet and cool it is. What do you guys think of Maple? Any middle name ideas?

I LOVE the name Maple! It’s so sweet and pretty, but I can see it on a grown woman too. It’s just another nature name to me, though more unusual, which I like. Makes me think of Autumn and beautiful Maple trees and their stunning leaves. Oh, so lovely.

Forgot to talk about the name. Yes I like Maple and would be intrigued to meet one. It feels like a naturey variant to Mabel in sound & vibe to me. Autumn, golden syrup, tree leaves & running water. It's a pretty Imagine.

I love Robert Frost. He was an amazing poet. His wife's maiden name was White so her name was Elinor "White Frost" lol! I have my favorite poem of his memorized: Nothing Gold Can StayNature's first green is gold
Her hardest hue to hold
Her early leaf's a flower
But only so an hour
Then leaf subsides to leaf
So Eden sank to grief
So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay It's from The Outsiders in pop culture

One of my cousin's friends named her daughter Maple. I actually think it works, and it fits in with all the other nature names. I prefer it paired with something more traditional to ground it.Maple Alexandra
Maple Isabella
Maple Frances
Maple Beatrice
Maple Genevieve
Maple Susanna
Maple Charlotte
Maple Winifred

I remember hearing about Maple as a name back in 2017. I was a 7th grader at the time, and it really intrigued me. I thought that it would be nice in a combination of Ashlyn Maple. Nowadays, I don't really care for Maple as a name and prefer Mabel. I do admire its uniqueness, though.

It has a strange sound to it. The p is harsh. Not ugly, just strange.
It also sounds like Mabel, but not quite, so that makes it weird too.
It’s imagery is too strong. Like Honey. It’s sort of tacky. Like, dog name sort of tacky. But it’s not the worst.
I’m trying to find something redeeming but I just can’t.

Ooh it reminds me of this 🇨🇦I think it's weird to name a child after a food (same goes with Hazel, Almond, Apple, etc., though Hazel is tolerable).Maybe pair it as Maple June or Maple Kristin.
