What do you think of the name of the day: Melchior?
WDYTO Melchior for a boy?
Is it usable?
Would you use it in the first name or middle name spot?
Any combos?TIA!

It feels very heavy and vaguely villainous. Also very three wise men. It would give me pause, but yeah, it's usable, especially with Mel to fall back on. I wouldn't use it, but I think it would work better in the middle spot - for a boy born around Christmas?Melchior Abel

It's not bad, sounds good like Melissa. It's usable, but I think I would like to use it as a middle name, like Laurence Melchior or Richard Melchior.

I adore Melchior, it's one of my favorites. One of my sons is Barnabas, so I think Melchior would fit right in :-) Melchior Trausti
Melchior Torfi
Melchior Máni
Melchior Lundi
Melchior Fálki
Melchior Sindri (this is probably my favorite)
