Odysseus
Today’s name of the day is Odysseus! It’s a long time favorite of mine. What do you think?BQ: What do you think of Ulysses? Ulises is actually the name of my new infant cousin (named after a relative).

Odysseus is an Illyrian name, not Greek. Illyrians (Thracians and other) were old names for Serbs who were indigenous Balkan people. Greeks came later as migrants from Africa/Middle East.

Love it, and Ulysses with the classic spelling.

Very stately! Not as usable as Ulysses, but so much cooler (still like Ulysses though).Grimes was going to name her daughter this if she was born a boy and I think that's such a shame, I would loved to see that!

Not a fan. I do like Perseus and Ulysses however!

Don't like it or Ulysses

I prefer Ulises, love this variant, it looks and sounds neater than Ulysses. And Odysseus looks messy and clumsy in comparison.

Classical, pompous, long, my kind of name.
