cannot decide
fantasy story, witch girlSelené Silverwell / Selina SilverwellWhich one sounds better to you? Also, my other main character's initial is also "S" that's why im bit hesitant about these names. Any other ideas welcomed!

I agree with Mirfak. The accent mark could be confusing to some readers. I'd go for Selina (or Selena) Also, I wouldn't worry too much about the character names starting with the same inital letter. As long as they aren't too similiar, they should be fine.

The accent mark on Selene is confusing. I imagine that some readers might misread it as "sel-en-AY"
I think Selina is easier to read, seems less effortful on your part, and I think anyone familiar with the name Selene would recognize the relation.
I think the name Selina Silverwell is perfect for a fantasy witch.
I think using two S names is no big deal. It sort of implies a kind of kinship or similarity or rivalry between characters - and that can be a good thing, even if it's a villain and a protag. If you want them to seem contrasty, maybe change it (the other one, not Selina!)
