Apolinary makes me think of a scholar or a poet from 18 century, indeed.

Looks like a combination of Apollo and apothecary. Very eccentric and 18th/19th century. I enjoy seeing it but I don't think it would be appreciated on a real person today!

It looks like it's related to Apollo - which is a much better name. Definitely gold, though. I love rare name sightings.

It sounds not like a name, but a place, like an apothecary, but a store where you can buy ... pollen?
