Not a fan of it. Even though I know many Ryans in their 40s now, it feels like it never grows up past frat boy age.

Very bland; I suppose that makes it suitable for any kind of person, but I also think it isn't as well used as it once was. Perhaps a dated choice? I wouldn't use it; there are lots of more interesting names out there.

ETA: isn't it surprising how very different Ryan is from Brian and of course Bryan? Just one sound makes such an impact. Give me Brian any day.
