Jerry
What do you think of Jerry? The other day it occurred to me how fun and cute it would be to meet a 2-year-old Jerry. It's kind of silly and makes me smile. I'm not sure what full name I would prefer for it. Maybe Jerome? Jeremiah is probably the "cool" version for Jerry these days, but I'm not keen on it. It feels too "Prosperity Gospel" for my liking, and I prefer the casual, laid back vibe Jerry brings with it.

Last year we had an infant Jerry in our baby swim class!
It was quite refreshing. Like when a coworker told me his little nephew was called Bruce. Fun to hear it,
but wouldn’t use it myself.

My uncle. He is a Gerald, goes by Jerry. Not laid back at all in my experience.

I'm not a fan of Jerry.I don't mind Jerome, Jeremiah or Jeremy but I would use Rome and Remi/Remy as nicknames rather than Jerry. My dislike of the name comes from a negative family association. I had a bratty, hyperactive cousin named Jerry whom I never grew to like.

Don't really like it but Jeremy is ok

Jerry reminds me of a kid, but I admit that it sounds fun and friendly. Jared, Gerald, Gerard, Jeremiah, Jarett, Jerome, etc. I don't mind. It works for any of those names. I'd love to see it as a NN for a less common J or G name.

Gerald? I suppose that would be Gerry, but it sounds the same. I knew a Geraldine once who went by Gerry; no doubt one must do something.

Jerome is one of my favorite names! I appreciate the down-home affability of Jerry.

I think that it's a pleasant name and an adorable nickname for Jeremy, Jared, or Jeremiah. It also reminds me of Jerry Mouse, from the "Tom & Jerry" television show.

I don't really care for the name Jerry either way. All of the male "airy" sound names are pretty average to me, neither great nor bad.
