My brother is named Keith! I think it’s a nice name, short and sweet and outdoorsy. Yeah, I guess it is dated but not in a bad way, it’s just not in style anymore.

I've never met a single Keith in my life, not even a fictional character. It has no age for me. I like the name a lot. I prefer ageless names, honestly. They're much easier to use on real children.

I love Keith and would gladly use it IRL. I'm becoming sceptical about dated names. There is so much variety in modern naming that just about anything goes.

Yes, don't really like it

Nah. I know two of vastly different ages.

In the US, Keith's heyday was from the 1950's until the early 1970's with his top ranking of No# 32 in 1966. Therefore, you could say that it's "dated" to that period of time. However, I like the name. It's a solid choice and sounds like the friendly boy-next-door. I also like similar names like Craig, Kyle and Clark. These guys may not be the most exciting on the block but they're dependable and approachable. Names like Alan, Sean, Dennis, Dale, Glenn, Mark, Scott, Todd, Roger, Troy, Dean and Paul have the same vibe.

Yes, I do find it dated. Not a fan.
