I scrolled through a ton of "names I considered for my kid but won't be using" videos, because I was super bored, and here are the names I kept hearing people mention:

All the Scotties I saw were going to be girls, and the parents said they just thought it was cute.

Interesting! I realized that I think "Scottie" just means a Scottish terrier vs. "Scotty" which is a nickname for Scott. I've never heard of Scottie on a girl, and if I did see it I'd expect it to be from the generation that called girls Bobbie, Billie, Frankie, etc.

A very dear friend at uni was known as Scottie or Scotto, his ln being Scott. Now nobody uses it, but I sometimes have to remember - just in time - to call him Ian instead. So that would be my guess, and not an attempt to honour a Scottish terrier. My favourite breed of dog, but there are limits.

I'm surprised that Goldie, Birdie, Millie, and Ruthie got multiple mentions -- those seem like very specific grandma-type names (well, some of them. I can see Birdie and Millie being popular).
I'm also surprised about Halo (never heard of that as a first name), Navy, Scottie, Sayla, and Sunday.

Most of them are not my style at all. Ones I would like enough to consider: Maeve, Daisy, Lucy, Ruth (not Ruthie!). Rory isn't bad.
Halo is astonishing. Saylor or Sayla - double yuck. Navy - the colour or the ships? Dove - better than Seagull. Quinn - Come all without, come all within. Harlow is surely one of the worst lnfns available.
