I love Julianna prn. juh-lee-ana or zhu (like "du" in French)-lya-na. I love Emma. I don't like Mattea and Mattie, although I love Mathilde and Mathilda.
I think you could use Julianna with no nn, or chose another one: Juju, Gigi, Lulu, Lili, Lala, Nini, Nana, Lia, Lana, Liana, July, Anna, Julia, Lil, Lilia, Liane... Please, no Julz or something, it's ugly.

I far prefer Juliana. Also, the "anna" spelling makes the long "ah" sound you're wanting seem improbable to me.

my sister is named Juliana (which is pronounced the way you want - Julianna is pronounced julie-anna). She goes by Juliana, Juli, or Jules.

I suggest changing the "L" in JuLianna, to something else or simply don't nickname it that way, call her, Anna, Ju, Lia and othersome. But maybe if your girl get used to the others won't want anyone as of then calling her julie if her name is simjply the nickname choices or julianna.

I knew a Julianna. I always called her Julianna.
For me to like it, It must have two "n"'s. One N reminds of Queen Juliana of the Netherlands. Queen Emma was a Queen of the Netherlands too. I like to name though¤Lala¤
