Bruce?
I can't make up my mind on this name. Thoughts? Opinions?
I kind of prefer Bryce. What about you?_________________________________

Bruce is not my favorite, but it is a strong, classic name. I love seeing them rediscovered. Besides, "Robert the Bruce" just sounds so rugged and handsome.

Bugh.Bruce is one of those names that kind of makes me cringe. I somehow associate it with sleazebags and perverts. For me it's a skin-crawly name. I much Bryce over Bruce, and I don't even like Bryce or Brice very much.

I don't really like Bruce for some reason, make because it reminds me of Brutus or Brute. I also know more than one gay man named Bruce, as well as a friend of mine who is a lesbian...she told her mother growing up that she wanted to change her name from Angel to Bruce!

I have to go with the "Steel Magnolias" theory on Bruce--most of them are gay. I know 3 gay guys named Bruce. :b Not that there's anything wrong with that, mind you. :) Sexuality aside, it's not a name I care for either way. Bryce is too trendy sounding and looking, imo. And it makes me think of lice. :-/(Edited b/c I forgot about Bryce)

I wasn't going to say it, but I've had the same experience and thought the same...unfortunately there are those stereotypes out there for whatever reason... Don't care for Bryce much either, but I'd actually pick Bruce over Bryce were it not for my experience...

Yeah, that's why I was a little unsure about Bruce, it seems to be regarded as a gay name. I think it sounds pretty masculine though. Like brute. Then again, that may be its failing :)
Idk, thanks for your opinions though.

I definitely prefer Bryce as well, although Bruce isn't too bad. It's just hard for me to imagine a little kid with the name Bruce... plus there's the whole Batman thing.

I prefer Bryce. Bruce is a bit too close to the word 'brute'.
