Ellie
For some reason, I've always adored Ellie as a NN. Aside from Elizabeth and Eleanor, can you suggest me any names Ellie could be a NN for? Also, what do you think of Ellie as a NN and which name is your favourite full name for it?

I really like the nn Ella or Ellie for the name Isabella. I recently considered this as one of my favorite names, but even more recently I've begun to dislike it. Wdyt of Isabella nn Ella? I think it looks good to hear/see once in awhile but to have to use it every day would get annoying.

Then there's always names with an "el" sound in the middle like Gabrielle, Adele, Isabelle, Imelda, Fidelma, Penelope, Gisele.

I've always thought of Ellie as a nickname for Ella. It could also be a nickname for Ellen, Elena, Elene, Eleni, Elspeth, Eliza, Elissa, or Elsa. Some people on this board have suggested Ella as a nickname for Isabella.
