Amarante
I am in love with this name. It falls in with my more dramatic names- Calantha, Acacia, Callandra, etc, etc. However, this one I'm even more in love with because of its meaning. "Unfading" Amarante and Maeve I think would make great sisters. So, opinions? First names to go with it, Middle names. Please, no trendy, misspelled, non-historical names.Siri

I love it! moreI wrote a story a while ago about an old candle maker who made the most beautiful candles. I found the name Amarante and chose it for her because of its meaning. I think the name is very pretty.

I like it Amarante, Maeve, and Acacia alot. I'm actually really liking Acacia right now. :) Can't think of any MN's right now but I like shantastic's suggestions, especially Belphoebe. (I love Greek names, but I have some Greek in me somewhere supposedly so I think I could get away with it. ;-))

I love the name Amarante, as well, and the meaning is lovely. Maeve is a favourite of mine, too. For MNs, how about:Amarante Camellia
Amarante Belphoebe
Amarante Nigella
Amarante Mireille
Amarante Cressida
Amarante Leona
Amarante Modesta
Amarante Theresa
Amarante PersephoneShannon
