WDYT of Ari?
WDYT of the name Ari for a boy?I rather like all 3 of it's meanings. I believe it's pronounced AH-ree rather than AIR-ee, but I could be wrong.

I love it, my brother's best friend's name is Arie which is pronounced AH-ree, so I would pronounce Ari in a similar way. I like it! :D

Ari is my brother :DAnd I love him to death... But believe me when I say, I'm not just being biased. I love the name. (Definetly prn. AH-ree) I think it sounds strong and handsome, and it has three good meanings.PS: My brother was named Ari because his dad is Jewish, so my mom chose a hebrew name she liked...

It seems nickname-ish to me, but I don't see why it can't work on its own. I like it better on a boy than a girl, probably because I greatly dislike Ariel on girls. I did know an Ariadne and she went by Ari, though. I like AHR-ee the best. AIR-ee sounds airheaded, lol, and ah-REE makes me think of the singer india.arie, which makes it more feminine for me.

Definitely pronounced AH-ree. I like it enough, but I'm currently acquainted with an Ari who's very rude, so the association quashes it for me.

I like it, but to me it does seem that there is an E missing to me, since I'm used to seeing the name Arie a lot.Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I really like it. it's simple and it has three good meanings.you could do something like Aristotle nn Ari, but I like Ari just on its own. I think it would sound great with a longer mn if you were so inclined.good choice.Luxiana

I like it. I once knew a kid named Ari, and his older brothers name was Eitan. I don't think I'd use Ari myself, but it's a good name for someone else's kid.

I love Ari, and it is AH-ree. It might be a bit nicknamey but I think it could work. It would be a very refreshing choice to see these days!

I like Ari for a boy, but it's a little too nicknamey to me. It would be cute as a nn for something like Arthur, Aramis, Aric / Eric, Laurence, Harry, or other names with an "Ari" sound. I also think it would be nice as a MN as in a combo mentioned further down the board Simon Ari.
