Estelle?
WDYT of Estelle as a name in general? Most importantly, do you think a young girl can use it well considering its quite dated?

I like the meaning and old fashioned names seam to be having a comeback. I'd go for it. -Elizabeth

I think Estelle is an ok name, though I prefer Estella. Estella is the name of a queen in my short story! Anyway, I think of Estelle as an older woman, I think a little girl would do better as Celest or Luna or Selina or Celestina maybe..

I think it's very pretty and would be very nice on a little girl. :) I'd love to meet a little girl named Estelle.------

I like Estelle well enough but greatly prefer Estella or even Stella. I admit Estelle makes me think of Estelle Getty ("Golden Girls") but I think a small child could pull it off.

I adore it. It is on my list. I think a little girl can carry it among the little Rubys and Lucys of today. I think it is definitely ready for a comeback and I don't see it as dated as such, but it has an old-fashioned charm. It also has great nns like Elle, Ellie (my favourite), Stella, Essie, Estie. I love it

I think it's a really good name. Don't mind that it's dated.

I think Estelle is a very pretty names and I think its a name that works well through all ages not just suits an adult but also a young child and a grandmother too! She could be Essie, Elle, Stella, Ellie etc. Very pretty :)~*~*~ BeX ~*~*~
