WDYTO these names? Is Romy too nicknamey? TIA!ETA: WDYTO Demetria? Right now I am loving the nn Demi, but I think it needs a longer, more formal name.

I love Dove for a girl, but Dov is a Hebrew male name, so it would definitely depend on the gender of the child. And Romy...all I can think of is "Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion." I do like Romilly, though, with Adeline.

Dov... I want it to be Dove, which I don't particuarily favor as a name. *shrug* I guess its okay.I like Romy. I don't think its too nn-y, though I prefer it as a nn.Eh... Demetria is nms. I can't disassociate Demi for Demi Moore (whose full name, as it turns out, is Demetria).

Romy has been growing on me lately. I personally don't think it's too nickname-y, though it's certainly bordering the type, so I do think it's strong enough to stand on its own. I really like it as a mere NN, too, for Rosemary.Demetria is beautiful, exotic, and sophistocated. It's very feminine and strong. I also like the NN Demi. ____________________________________________________I've got soul, but I'm not a soldier

I guess I'm contradicting myself when I say this but... I like the way Demetria sounds but I don't care for it because it reminds me of "dementia". I like Romy as a nn, but I can't really think of what longer name it would be a part of. Dov doesn't seem finished to me, but as a nn it would sit just fine.

Romy is a nickname for my friend Rometrius (g)
Dov. Would prefer Dove for a girl.
