I love August and Augusta, and I like Augustus but it sounds a little more 'stuffy' to me (and reminds me of Augustus Gloop :-/). I don't really care for Augustine, but I also live near St. Augustine, FL, so that would be a bit too close for comfort, anyway. :b I do love Augusten (aw-GUS-ten), though. But I'm not sure how 'legit' the name is; the only person I've heard of with the name is the author, Augusten Burroughs. :) Of the BA's I like* or just want to comment on...
Autymn - Sounds like "Aw, Tim" :-/ I don't even pronounce Autumn this way so it's a misleading kree8tiv spelling, lol.
Berlyn - A misspelled place name. :(
Brylee - I cannot understand the attraction to this name (this is the the 4th or 5th time I've seen it lately)
Bostyn - Yes, spelling it with a "y" makes it 'oh so femynynn' :(
Darlin - I know a woman with this name, lol
India* (GP)
Ivy*
Ruby*
Mercy*
Miss Mertens - Miss? Do they expect her to be a teacher when she's 3 or something?
Paisley - Ugly pattern, horrible for a name
Rowan Lilith* - Seems a morbid combo (wasn't Rowan the name of a witch in the Anne Rice books?). I prefer Rowan for a boy, but it's a bit of a GP on girls for me lately.
Bear Eli* - I like Eli but not Bear. As a nn maybe but NOT as a given name. And where I come from, a "Bear" is a large, hairy gay man. :-/
Branch - Branch? And his little brother Twig?
Solo Arjadis - huh?
Charlotte*
Clementine*
