Arwen
I know it's the name of the Elven princess in The Lord of the Rings- which I love by the way. But, could it be used as a real name?

I love the name Rose Arwen, I would certainly use this for my kids.

Arwen is very pretty, and I think it can be used as a real name.A couple of similar names that I love are Arden and Anwen (love the meaning).

I find it very similar to Arden, which I consider a girls name. Perfectly useable.

I like it and think it could be used on a child. I like Anwen too which has a similiar sound.

I would without a doubt use that name. I have always loved it since the first time I heard it, and by the time I have children, people probably won't automatically associate it with the books or movies.

Sure, why not? I like it, not love it, but I don't despise it. I think it's very pretty without being sickingly sweet.

Sure, it could. I don't like it, but it's perfectly workable as a name.Array

yes! it could surely be used as a real name! I love using names from books like Caspian (the Chronicles of Narnia), Aragorn (the Lord of the Rings), and Jonas (from the Giver). For girls I really like Eowyn, Arwen and Galadriel all from the Lord of the Rings. I would definatly use this as a fn but, if you still feel uncomfortable with it, think about using it as a mn!

I like Arwen. It's very pretty when spoken, yet it's not too long or over-used.
