Diego
What do you think of Diego? Do you think it's now ruined for use because of the childrens' show Go Diego Go? Not that that is a bad association, as it's a cute show, but it's also very popular right now. Do you think association is too strong? What about Santiago? What do you think of it? And which do you prefer, Santiago or Diego? Thanks!Jamie

*love* both, slightly prefer SantiagoProbably because I have an ex named Santiago who was incredibly hot, and quite adept at the, uh, horizontal tango, whereas I've never, ahem, tangoed with any Diego's. But I love that name too.No, I don't think the association is too strong.

I like it.I'm white, white, white though and it seems like a fairly obvious hispanic name. So I doubt I'd use it, but I really like the sound of it a lot.

Never heard of the show. Love Diego. Santiago is too surnamey and placenamey for me.

I love Diego. It's one of those Spanish names that is muy caliente. ;-) I also like Alejandro, Antonio and Javier.Santiago makes an excellent surname, however, I'm not sure I like it as a fn.EDA that while Santiago can be used as both a fn/surname, I see it strictly as a surname. It's handsome, that's for sure. Overall, I prefer Diego.

I much prefer Santiago, but neither are really my style.

Never heard of the show. I think of San Diego, and Santiago makes me think of it even more, but the parents were trying to be a little more sneaky about the connection.I really dislike both
