Pronunciation of some German and Czech names...
I love Jorinda and Joringel, from the German fairy tale, I want to know if they're pronounced with the 'j' or 'y' sound. Same with the Czech name Jarka. And Bjarke, I'd just like to know how to say it period...
thanks.

Yeah its like yetis "y"-
But in the German original Text its "Jorinde und Joringel".
Jorinda is just the english Version.

According to the pronounctiation guide used on this website, with 'j' like "jump" and 'y' like "yeti", German Jorinda and Joringel are both 'y'.
