This is my daughter Stella
You say:
You think: It's a cool name, but kind of harsh to my ears; also makes me think of a stripperThis is my daughter Aven
You say:
You think: Is it too like Avon? It seems so cool. I like the association with birds. . .maybe her nickname could be Birdy? This is my daughter Briony
You say:
You think: Wow, I didn't think I'd ever meet anyone with this name that I have thought pretty for so many years. This is my daughter Aisling
You say: Pronounced Ash-leen?
You think: Because pronounced that way it is such a pretty and musical name. This is my daughter Clary
You say:
You think: Wow, that's really old-fashioned. Clary sage. What about Clara, or just Clare? This is my daughter Fallon
You say:
You think: oh how dreadfully 80's; seemed like a made up name then, still does. This is my daughter Isla
You say: EE-sla or IH-sla or EYE-la; I'm never sure how to pronounce it.
You think I love the way it looks though, and any of the pronunciations are cool. This is my daughter Maren
You say:
You think: it sounds tailored, classy, elegant, yet still unusualThis is my daughter Helena
You say:
You think: Helena is so much prettier, somehow, than Helen. It sounds ancient and ethereal. This is my daughter Regine or Regina
You say:
You think: Oh, the poor thing. What a dreadful name. Reminds me of v@gina and Reginald. Yuck. Sorry. This is my daughter Agatha
You say:
You think: I still can't bring myself to like the quintessential old-fashioned name, but I don't hate it anymore. This is my daughter Marion
You say:
You think:It used to be an icky boys name, and now it's an icky girls name. And sooooooooo dated!

I would quibble about Marion, which has two separate origins as a boy's and girl's name, and in fact, the boys' Marion comes from the girls' Marion via surname. It's also got precedent on a woman (or, a Maid) from the 14th century or so. Also about Noa, cause again, 2 different etymologies. (Though, yeah, gotta admit Noa will come off as a boy's name because the girl's name is unusual.)
