A year after where this story left off, Martha met a mercenary who was staying at her in. There were no wars at the time, the elves hadn't had a war in ages, and here was this mercenary, sitting at a table in the inn's restaurant. They got to talking and Martha got to thinking... her boys needed a father figure. Arizair especially, he was becoming a man so quickly and there was no one to show him how to do manly things, except for their ancient neighbor, and he wasn't really up to it.
So day after day, Martha would talk to this mercenary, who she learned was named Cyor, and eventually she asked him to accompany her to the village dance. Which he did, gladly. And as it goes, they were married shortly after.
Another year went by, and Martha and Cyor welcomed a set of twin boys. Martha really loved raising boys, so she was exceptionally pleased.
The boys, named Tahlevar (meaning "Blade flute") and Myesti ("emerald elf"), were both born with brown hair, and when Martha saw them, she laughed. She could barely contain herself, she was so very amused.
Cyor asked her why she was laughing, and she explained that the father of her older sons, Obsidian, had left her because none of the children had had his hair or eye color. Obsidian had had brown hair. And now, now that she was married to someone else, she had babies with brown hair.
Cyor gave a little chuckle at patted his tired wife's head.
Martha and Cyor were very pleased with their twins, and were very excited to have another child. And of course, what was more fun than making babies?
So within a year, Martha gave birth to another set of twins-- a boy and a girl! She didn't quite know how to feel about having her first daughter, after seven boys, but she was excited nonetheless, especially upon seeing that the little girl had her white hair. Tey were named Lyledth ("eternal wolf") and Kytae ("magic love")
The happy couple waited a year, and then decided they would have just one more pregnancy. Martha was getting a bit old to be having new children, and Cyor was happy to enjoy the ones they already had.
That last pregnancy brought them triplets, all boys. They all had black hair like their father, and the second of them had the same blue eyes as well. They were named Fivin ("rain storm"), Korali ("black shadow") and Lathi ("night wing").
And Martha and Cyor lived happily ever after, with their ten sons and one daughter. ♥
