Game of Life (all in one)
I love these games! For each round, write a diary entry or a letter to your family and friends- whichever suits you best- detailing the events each round discusses. As for answer length, two paragraphs is usually best. Round One:
You and your spouse were married / commited recently! Discuss how long you've known eachother, what the ceremony was like, one special / funny moment, and what you and your spouse wore.
The two of you have also bought a house / apartment. Where is it? What does it look like? Why did you choose the house / apartment you did?Round Two:
Two years later:
Congratulations! You are expecting your first child! What was you(r spouse's) pregnancy like? How did everyone react? Was there a baby shower? How was the birth? What is your child's name? What does s/he look like? What is his/her personality like? What does his/her bedroom look like? You or your spouse decide to quit your job to stay home with your child. How do you adjust to that?Round Three:
Three years later:
You and your spouse decided to adopt children. How many? From what country? What are their names? What do they look like? How old are they? How are they adjusting to their new life?
As you are in the process of adoption, your oldest child is getting ready to be a sister/brother! How is s/he doing? The adoption papers are ready to be finalized when you find out that you(r spouse) is pregnant again! But not with one child, but multiples! How many? What are their names? What do they look like? Is your house large enough for all the new children? If not, time to move again!Round Four:
Two years later:
Your first biological child, age five, is begging for a pet. What kind of pet? Do you let him/her? If so, what does s/he name it? Does your family have fun with the pet?
How are all your children doing? An important event happened in your family- what was it? How does the event effect your family?
Unfortunately, a family member or close friend passes away and leaves their children to you and your spouse. Tell us about the children. Are they old enough to cope with the death? Round Five:
One year later:
Just when you thought you were done with children, you had an urge to adopt again. How many children did you adopt? From where? Tell us about your new child(ren.)
Your house is full to the brim. You have to move! Tell us about the new house! Where is it? Do all your children have their own rooms? Do you share rooms? Round Six (Summary):
10-20 years later- you choose:
Where's your family at? This can be anywhere from two sentences per person up to a paragraph for each person- you choose! Hope you had fun!- MelissaArielle Norah

I'm writing to my friend, Anna, in Australia!Round One:
Dear Anna, [6th July 1996]
Brandon Matthew and I [Elise Matilda], just got married! It was a lovely wedding, it was a big white one. I wore a gorgeous white dress with pink bridesmaids: Isabella, Thea and Cameron. My little pageboys were Oliver and Ben. Everyone had a great time. Brandon had a beautiful black suit and looked so smart. We've known each other for about 7 years and got together 5 years ago! Time flies. We have a great photo of all the kids chasing around and playing with confetti and on one picture the confetti is so thick, you can't even see the children! We inherited a 6 bedroomed house in Essex, England, it would have been expensive but so lovely and well decorated, we thought we might as well stay living in it and will probably not need to move for a long time. It is very modern and has a huge garden.Round 2:
Dear Anna, [18th April, 1998]
We had our first child on 12th April, a little girl, Tegan Elodia! The pregnancy went well and I loved being able to show off my big baby bump to everyone. I had no pain really, just a few twinges. Tegan was born at home in the water bath and Brandon was there every step of the way, which was good! Tegan has blonde hair at the moment and is really small. Her blue eyes are just like Brandon's and her room is pretty pink. It has loads of toys in it, but mainly teddies. I decided to quit my nursing job to stay at home with Tegan because I thought it would be better for her upbringing. I have adjusted well to that and really enjoy it. I can do what I want in a way because I can just take Tegan along with me.

Dear Olivia,
I’m so sorry you couldn’t make it to the wedding, but thank you so much for the wonderful picnic hamper. We have used it three times already, because we’re having such nice weather at the moment!
The wedding went wonderfully, all ran smoothly! It was held in a beautiful country hotel by a lake in the Adirondacks, with about 40 guests in total – we didn’t want a huge wedding. There was a slight panic when the flower girl, my niece Isabella (aged 7), slipped in the grounds of the hotel and badly cut her wrist, but we bandaged it up and everything went fine. Chris wore a black suit and tie, nothing very interesting there (it never is with men!) and I wore a simple white floor-length white dress, empire line and very elegant! I am enclosing a few photos from the day so you can see what we looked like!
The honeymoon was sublime – Venice is such a wonderful city, as you know well! We are now back in our apartment in Manhattan. We’re so incredibly lucky to have it – Chris’s uncle left it to him and it has spectacular views of Central Park. We moved about nine months before the wedding, before that we lived in a small house in White Plains for a year. You have to come and see us sometime, whenever you can next make it over here to the States!
I hope everything is going great and that Robert and Julie are doing well – they must be so grown up by now!
All my love,
Natalia x
Dear Olivia,
Thank you so much for the beautiful card and flowers you sent. They were much appreciated! Chris and I are the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl, named Felicity Anne. She weighed 7lbs at birth and is extremely healthy, thankfully! She has quite a bit of hair now (she’s three weeks old) which is light brown and very curly. She has also inherited her father’s blue eyes and button nose! We decorated the smaller spare room next to ours for her and Chris’s sister Kayleigh painted a wonderful light purple floral motif on the walls
The pregnancy was not too bad, thank goodness, the labour was… well, you’ve been there! Felicity is actually pretty good at sleeping at night compared to other babies, i.e. me! Chris is helping me out and I have my mother staying with us, which is also a great help!

ROUND 1
Dear Lucy,
I'm so sorry you couldn't make the wedding but I really do hope the surgery went alright.
The wedding went brilliantly and everything was so perfect! Harry was a total gentlemen. He paid for the whole thing and said I could have whatever I wanted!!! We decided to have a traditional church wedding: a big white dress, red roses and a lovely reception in a country hotel. It was perfect really! My dad's speech was soo embarassing but everyone loved it! He has a slide-show of me growing up - basically all of my really embarassing moments! There was me wandering around as a little girl with a bowl on my head wearing only a superhero cape, me with chocolate all over my face...everything! I do have to admit it was great!!!
We're moving into the new house this weekend. It was in a bit of a state when we first got it so after the wedding we stayed in rented accomodation. We've knocked the downstairs into one open area space, extended the downstairs, put in a downstairs toilet and a conservatory. Upstairs we've put in an extra bedroom and extended the bathroom which have all made the house really spacios and comfy. We've also put in new windows, a skylight, carpets, plastered and painted the walls and ceiling, ect. The house looks great! You should come and see it ASAP. I already knew I loved the house's location but its really great inside and outside. Its detatched and has a beautiful big garden. There is a weeping willow outside and Harry has promised to fix a swing in it! I can't wait!
Love ClaireROUND 2
Dear Lucy,

I will be playing a character named Jennifer Bates "Jen", age twenty-four in the first round. Since I was little, I've dreamt of a fairy tale wedding- lots of people celebrating, the bride in a white ballgown, the groom in a handsome black suit. And last weekend, I got my fairy tale wedding! Zachary and I were married in a beautiful garden ceremony at four o'clock in the afternoon. My niece Gabriella- she's four years old- was the flower girl. During the ceremony, she marched right up to Zachary and gave him a big kiss! It was very cute.
Zachary and I met eighteen months ago. My best friend threw her husband a surprise party. Zachary was my friend's husband's cousin, and we hit it off at the party!
We bought a house together, a lovely three bedroom house near the river. We hope to fill it up with children soon!Round Two:
I cannot even begin to tell you my joy when I found out that I was pregnant. Almost immediately after Zachary and I shared our second anniversary, we were staring down at that little pink line. My pregnancy was easy- in fact, besides a little morning sickness in my first trimester, my biggest trouble was finding maternity clothes that would fit over my big belly! However, the labor was awful. I was in labor for nearly fourteen hours before I could begin pushing, and it was another hour before my son was born. But what a reward!
Jude Adair was born on Valentine's Day, weighing nine pounds and four ounces. He had light brown hair and dark eyes, with a tiny nose and a beautiful face. He has a cheerful disposition and loves to cuddle before bedtime! While generally an easy baby, he hates going to sleep at night. We decorated his room in soothing, calm colors like pastel green and yellow to help him but it takes awhile to calm him down at night!

All Finished!Round One:
(My name is Brittany Louise, by the way. My husband is Nikita Vassily.)Dear Family and Friends; You will be excited to learn that Nik and I have just purchased our first house! It is one side of a duplex. The other side is rented out by an older couple who live just down the road. Our little house is just beautiful! The outside has pretty sage green siding and great landscaping! We have three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, the living room, laundry room, and a basement. It is an unfinished basement, but Nik has decided that he'll finish it up and maybe turn it into a rec room/study/home gym. We chose the duplex because it was less upkeep than a normal house, the neighbors seemed friendly, and there were lots of kids around. The schools looked excellent as well-even though Nik and I will probably send our kids to a private school.
I thought you might also be interested to hear my take on our wedding. Nik and I dated for two years. Before that, we had known each other for about five years after meeting our freshman year in college. It was really no surprise that Nik proposed; we had talked about marriage before. In the months before the wedding, I chose a wedding dress that was pale, pale blue. It had diamonds sewn onto the lower part of the dress and glittered when the light hit it. I chose a complimentary color for the bridesmaids--they wore light peach. As you all know, my sister Emily, cousins Clara and Erica, and best friend Nicolette were bridesmaids. As for Nik, he chose a pure black tuxedo for him and his best man (his brother Aleksandr). We are so glad that all of you attended our wedding! I would especially like to thank my parents, Emily, Ryan (Nik's friend), and Nik's parents for decorating the church and organizing all the things we couldn't. I loved the three-tiered wedding cake! My favorite part of the wedding was when I joined Nik at the altar and he took my hand. I knew right then that we would be together forever. I think Nik felt the same way. Thank you Daddy for giving me to Nik.
