Ari's Murder Mystery CAF #1
This will function similarly to a NTNB, but instead of new additions to a family, you will be naming guests who come to a stately home in Oxfordshire in late October 1910, hoping for a week of hunting, fine dining, and sparkling conversation. They get more than they bargained for when the guests start dropping like flies...This is heavily inspired by Penhaligon's portait collection: https://www.penhaligons.com/us/en/categories/portraits/shop-allI'm winging it. Kind of. I haven't selected a victim or murderer yet - maybe I'll make you vote on them too! Feedback on this is very welcome. But first, we need to name the stately home where the potential victims and suspects will be convening. Built by the current Earl's grandfather - a man of Romantic sensibility - it is a mansion modelled after Horace Walpole's Strawberry Hill House, pictured below, albeit smaller, and covered in a substantial amount of ivy.The stately houseIt follows the pattern of "bird's name + possessive + nest", the bird being one that is native to Oxfordshire, where this tale takes place (https://www.oos.org.uk/oxonlist.php). It is up to your discretion whether to use the bird's full name: IE, it is entirely up to you whether the house will be called The Slavonian Grebe's Nest or The Grebe's Nest.Anyone is welcome to join at any point. Good luck! 🕊️❣️🌻💌🌻❣️🕊️masculine list: https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/191050/124079
