Ari's Murder Mystery CAF #6
Welcome to THE NIGHTINGALE'S NEST cher529s, esteemed guest. Enjoy your stay. Try not to get killed.

THE HOST Lord August Wulfstan Hastings, 7th Earl of Ashbourne AmoretTHE HOSTESS Lady Xanthe Rosmunda Hastings ishildTHE DUCHESS Her Grace Agnes Lucrezia Grenville, Duchess of Somerset WillowBelleTHE DUKE His Grace Hadrian Antinous Grenville, Duke of Somerset Wordsmith

_______ 's father, a shipping magnate in occupied with close financial ties to the English and French wanted his children to be educated to European standards. Thus, he sent his son to Eton, and his daughter - one of the esteemed guests at The Nightingale's Nest - to a school in the Swiss Alps ran by strict nuns who, nonetheless, inundated the girls with a thorough knowledge of eloquence, etiquette, elocution, and elegance.______ and her brother were very well educated indeed, fluent not only in their native Arabic, but also English and French, with an impressive knowledge of Ancient Greek and Latin as well. This was what their father had wished for them. Not all of his wishes regarding his children were fulfilled, however. He had hoped for his son, who was educated at Eton where, according to the biographies of great statesmen his father read, wars were won, to follow in the family business, brokering connections he had made in school. He had hoped his daughter, well-educated, would attract a husband of considerable influence in business or politics. His son, however, had a low opinion of his schoolmates, one of whom, three years his senior, was the future Duke of Somerset - then just Hadrian Grenville. Grenville was expelled from Eton (as suggested by starletinwaiting) for reasons his family insisted the school refer to as merely "social dysfunction" regarding the other boys. ______ 's brother did not approve of his rich English classmates, to the point where - much to his father's dismay - rather than advancing the shipping business, he has grown into a nationalist seeking to dismantle the British occupation, and is currently doing work to such behalf in Cairo. As to _______ , she is yet to join any political movements of note. While her brother is the family's renegade, she is far more obedient: having moved to London recently, she has set her sights on a suitable match. She is a bewitching and sophisticated young woman of many accomplishments, and has turned many a head - but her standards are high. Perhaps she will meet her match in The Nightingale's Nest, where she has been invited by Lady Xanthe. Though maybe _______ isn't as obedient a daughter as she seems - she has resumed correspondence with her renegade brother..._______ bint _______ _______First name: Arabic, with a meaning related to flowers or trees.Father's name (comes after bint): Egyptian Arabic (links, for inspiration: https://www.behindthename.com/names/gender/masculine/usage/arabic-egyptian & https://www.behindthename.com/submit/names/gender/masculine/usage/arabic-egyptian/editstatus/3 - you can use other names that fit the bill too)Surname: Arabic, starts with Al (links, for inspiration - as above, you can use other names that fit the bill too: https://surnames.behindthename.com/names/usage/arabic/start/al & https://surnames.behindthename.com/submit/names/usage/arabic/start/al/editstatus/3)BONUS (optional, just for fun - I may or may not take inspiration): What specific events revelations have caused _______ to reconsider her obedience to her family's wishes and take a more active role in shaping her own destiny? 🕊️❣️🌻💌🌻❣️🕊️masculine list: https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/191050/124079
