1. Sophie - 1 (15), Sophia/Sofia - 3 or 4 (16 or 17, and I'm not sure of the spelling except for one, my good friend Sofia, who goes by Sofi)
2. I think they're both trendy-ish here (UK), but not horribly so.
3. Courtney and Brandon seem to be the most popular. Pretty much, if you look at the most popular names in the US ten years ago, they're the most popular names in my area now. There's also a trend of double-barrelled names...Ellie-Mae, Sophie-Jae, etc.
