Help[Facts] yes, more then one pronunciation

The Gillian has been used for both sexes, but in it's form Jillian, only for females.
I have only heard Jillian pronunced (Jeil-ee-ahn) ei like in 'it'
But for males I have heard it pronounced (Geil-ee-ahn).
Not really all to fond of the latter.
