[Opinions] Re: Alex

I LOVE Alex on a girl and pushed DH for it (Georgia was also on our short list). I've known 2 girl Alexes - one a successful restauranteur and one a grad student. Both are pretty, very very smart and very very independent - the kind of women I'd be happy for my daughter to grow up like. I think of it as a name that's tough and sexy on an adult but also cute on a little girl.
Alex Ophelia is interesting, but I'm not a huge Ophelia fan. What seems to fit best to me are sort of old fashioned/very feminine names and names starting with vowels. Depending on your last name, any of these might work:
Alex Evelyn
Alex Eugenie
Alex Irena
Alex Imogen
Alex Odessa
Alex Olivia
also: Alex Maria, Alex Corrina, Alex Francesca, Alex Lucinda
BTW, I love Dean as a middle name for a girl. A bit too unisex to pair with Alex, but Georgia Dean sounds great.
