Congratulations to Jecca, Caspian, and family (sorry...I didn't quite feel up to typing out all of the names!)! We have found you three children.
Leila Amira is a newborn from Iran. She has Down syndrome and was given up by her parents because of that. She is a very loving baby and enjoys being held and played with. She will need surgery to correct a mild heart defect when she gets a little older and stronger.
Avraham Yonah is a four-year-old boy from Israel. He is completely deaf and communicates using ASL. He is very bright and cheerful and adores other children. He loves to look at books, especially about trucks. He reads Hebrew and a little bit of English, but is a very fast learner.
Hanako Amaya "Hana" is a seven-year-old girl from Japan. She has cardiomyopathy, but luckily is stable and doing well. She has a pacemaker implanted, but cannot run or exert herself under any circumstances. She loves to swim, which is the only exercize she is allowed to do. She also likes to read. She is very excited about learning English, and has already taught herself the colors and numbers.
