-Reina Thamina is a 14 year old girl from Argentina. She loves going to museums and playing chess. Her favorite sports are soccer, handball, and rugby. She has been in gymnastiques since she was brought to our agency [she was 2]. One day she hopes to make it into the olympics and win a gold medal. She is outgoing and will put forth her best effort in anything she does.
-Amir Habib is a 12 year old Jewish boy from Israel. He speaks Hebrew, English, French, and Arabic. His birthday is in 13 days and he wants to have a traditional bar mitzvah. He is, however, nervous that he might get married young [in theory, a boy who reaches 13 or a girl who reaches 12 are, in the Jewish religion, old enough to be married]. He likes to draw, skateboard, travel, and he plays the piano and violin. He is a little shy but loves to be around people.
-Bisera Nevena is a 16 year old from the Republic of Macedonia. She only speaks Macedonian, Albanian, and ASL [her foster family in America had a mute and deaf boy from Macedonia she was friends with]. She writes the most amazing poetry and short stories you'll ever hear. She likes to play basketball, tennis, and also likes to sail. She practices Islam [meaning she's Muslim] and, like Amir, would like to keep praticing her religion. She would like to have an arranged marriage with a man of your choice when she comes of age, as it is customary in her religion.
