Allegra and Celia are doing great! Celia is doing better. Her cancer seems to be going away! Allegra is still a little depressed, but she feels good being in a permenant home. Both girls' English is coming along great! Andoni is doing well. He is training for a mountain bike race right now. He works so hard! Haizea is also doing good. She is great a roller-blading! She has been teaching some of the younger kids how to skate. Both of them joined the local hockey team.

Fedir Andriy [16], Halyna Lyuba [11], Nazar Martyn [10], and Vira Anastasiya [8] are siblings from Ukraine!
Fedir is the responsible one of the family and has been caring for his younger siblings for more than a year - since their parents died in a plane crash. Fedir feels a special responsibility for Vira, who is a paraplegic. Up until last year, the foursome was living alone in an abandoned old shack, and Vira had no wheelchair or anything. Fedir enjoys dancing and wants to be a jazz dance teacher after he graduates. His dance company has offered him a job, but he wanted to finish highschool first. He is a bit nervous about leaving his old friends at the dance studio, but he is sure that he will find new ones.
Halyna is a sweet girl who loves to be with her siblings. She is very skittish around animals, and terribly afraid of rats and insects. She loves to watch sports and wants to go to a real baseball game! She promises that she will route for your team!
Nazar is a kind young boy who plays the clarinet very well. He is self-taught, and impressive. He enjoys listening to music (he wants a CD player very much) and loves to hang out with other kids.
Vira is quiet and shy, and very embarrassed by her condition. She doesn't like to be around lots of people, and Fedir had been tutoring her even when her parents were alive. She likes to play imaginary games, and has an imaginary friend called Alla, whom she loves very much.
These children do not speak much English, but they are eager to learn!
