[Games] Re: CAF with numbers
in reply to a message by Mar
Leary is actually a real Irish name, the anglicized from of
Lóegaire (also spelled Laoghaire, Láegaire, Loeguire, Laoire). It was a popular medieval Irish name borne by a number of historical and legendary figures and it means "calf-herd". I really like it and am liking Valerian a lot now because of the possibility of Leary as a nickname and am glad you like it too! I also just thought of Leary as a nickname for Leander, WDYT? :)

Oh that's nice as well, and Leary is so much better than Lee or Andy (not to mention Ander, which means 'someone else' in Dutch, and is therefore very weird as a NN to me). Also Leary solves the NN problem for Eleazar, I only liked Ezra for it, but Leary is not so much a stretch for it as Ezra is.
