Really? Wow. Drusa or Drusilla was on my list of "might use" names for my daughter (never got up the courage to run it past the guy though). I've hardly ever heard anyone mention Drusa.
To Brendan:
I don't watch Buffy, but it's a hip show, so who cares about the stupid character? I think the name has a "gothy" image, though, even prior to the character - kind of sinister in a theatrical way, or vampy. Which I don't understand since it's a classical name. It could come from the association of Drusilla with Caligula, but it seems unlikely that that'd be commonly known enough... I guess it probably just comes from the sound of the name.
Beatrix & Heloise are not my style at all, and I don't think they go with the character of Drusilla. D. Josette is interesting, though.
