Carmen Graciela was taken in from the streets of Havana when she was 7 years old. She is now 14 and has been residing in an orphanage ever since. Due to malnutrition when she was young, Carmen is underweight, but she will be fine. She is tall for her age with long, straight, dark hair. Her eyes are a deep chocolate brown. She will need a lot of emotional support due to her lack of parental guidance for her entire life.
Riordan Padraic's parents died in a plane crash when he was 12. He is now 15. He had been residing with his grandmother, but she recently passed away due to illness. Riordan has medical depression, and must therefore be treated with care. It will most likely take a long period of time for him to adjust to having parents again. He is a little bit short, but not overly so, with light brown hair and a considerable amount of freckles. His eyes are hazel.
Everett Cole is a 16 year old boy from Detriot, Michigan. He was verbally, emotionally and physically abused by his mother until the age of 10, when child services intervened. He has permanant scarring on his back from abuse, but it does not effect his daily life. He may mistrust his adopters for the first few weeks of his life in a new home due to his violent past with parental figures. He is small for his age with blonde hair and blue eyes.
Holly Katherine is Everett's twin sister. She was also abused by her mother, though not as violently as Everett was. In the 6th grade one of her teachers sexually abused her multiple times before she told authorities. She will need to see a therapist and serious emotional problems should be expected. She is average height and has curly blonde hair and the same eyes as her brother.
