Elam (17) is the uncle of Aurelie (5). Aurelie's late mother, Elam's sister and her husband died six months ago. Elam and his dad then took in Aurelie. About three months ago, Elam's dad went to prison for embezling from his company. Elam has black hair and gray-green eyes.
Aurelie doesn't really understand what happened to her parents yet. She can't and doesn't want to come to terms with the fact that she won't see them again. She is happy most of the time, and loves playing with other children. Aurelie has sandy-blond hair and hazel eyes.
