I only know one Ada - my old English teacher's daughter. She has a twin named Harriet. I think it's a sweet name. I wouldn't use it because I like Adelaide better, but I might use it as a nn for Adelaide. It's kind of short to have a nn of it's own, unless you did an initial nn like AJ or something.
