The book is entitled The Nakayama Name in History so I don't know if it includes the US. What I did find at http://72.14.205.104/search?q=cache:4hEK2-YJ4QIJ:donaanacountyhistsoc.org/Newsletter06-03.pdf+%22Two+Japanese-American+Farming+Families+in+the+Mesilla+Valley%22&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=ca is the following: "DOÑA ANA HISTORICAL SOCIETY March 16, 2006 Program Peggy Swoveland Title: Two Japanese-American Farming Families in the Mesilla Valley. An oral history of the Nakayama and Yabumoto families since their arrival in the Mesilla Valley in 1915-1918. (The Nakayamas are my father’s family and theYabumotos are my mother’s family. The Nakayamas farmed north of Las Cruces near the village of Doña Ana, and the Yabumotos lived and farmed in the south valley near Anthony.)"
