But I can see it working for a girl, though I tend not to like names for girls that end in O. Old habitual bias. (Socorro's my single exception.)
I definitely get exotic and strong out of it, and it is a marvelously beautiful color, to be sure.
Using the nn Indy's gonna confuse other people, though; Indiana "Indy" Jones is just a wee bit too famous.
