Things are going very well for our newly expanded family.
Gabriel has been talking to a psychologist and is starting to get over his depression somewhat, and has enjoyed art and violin lessons. He has started playing solos with Haley accompanying him on the piano. She has been glad to have a musical partner. She is also taking art lessons and piano lessons. They have become fast friends through music and art.
Maddy has also connected with a new sibling, but in her case it's Alison. They suit each other, because Maddy rarely speaks and Alison doesn't always wear her hearing aids so they communicate without words. Maddy didn't speak for a long time at first, but she's been going to the same psychologist as Gabe and now speaks about everyday things, just not much more then that.
Bubble and Viola has settled right in with the other pets and it isn't uncommon to see Bubble sleeping with two cats flopped right beside or on top of him.
