Out of the big ole' list posted earlier...
I love...
Archibald William Emerson Arnett - Archie Arnett might be the cutest name ever.
Winston James- Classy!
Hania Riley- I just like the Hania part... and I like it a lot
Birdie Leigh- It's like something out of The Music Man, it's adorable
Zev Issac- Just really glam
Edie- Edie and Esme is the cutest sibset ever
I so terribly want to like something about Zuma Rossdale's name, but the only one I'm feeling out of all those names is Rock.
Cate Blanchett has beautiful name taste... I'd love to know what she'd pick for a girl!
Why do the Palins name the way they do? Seriously, nothing to do with the politics, I just really wonder what inspires them to pick such similar sounding names. Will the next one be Triad? Or Trek?
The most disappointing had to have been Maddie Briann. I expected something trendee, yes, and maybe even tacky, but Maddie is a nickname for heaven's sake! Briann isn't awful, but it just doesn't look right to me.
The most surprising, for me, was Nell. I thought for sure the Bonham-Carter/Burton family would have gone with something a bit more strange, but then again, their son has a pretty basic name, so it makes sense.
My gp has to be Jagger Joseph Blue. It goes well with Poet Sienna Rose, and it's cute and hippy dippy.
The worst had to be Bronx Mowgli, and I didn't even have high expectations for their naming abilities. It just screams "WE WANNA BE ORIGINAL!"
Overall, I felt that this year was pretty boring for baby names, but when it comes to celebrity baby names, the more boring the better (for the most part). They either tend to go old school, or just make stuff up; they so rarely go with underused real names.
