I agree that it's annoying when parents repeat letters, but it's more annoying to me when they do it on purpose, choosing names solely because they fit the purpose and not because they love them.

I will say, though, that we seriously considered naming Alice "Gwendolen" and calling her Wendy, but ultimately didn't do that because I thought Wendy and Wesley was just too cutesy-cute.
