My name is Leslie, and I love it.
Back in the 60's, when I was born, everyone named their daughters Lisa, Kim or Michelle. I was always the only Leslie in all of my schools.
I would only find it dated if you used it for a boy, as it was pretty popular for boys around 1930 or so. I don't see it dated for a girl because it never was a really popular name anyway.
