lee-EYE-la is odd to me too. I've never encountered that pronunciation before.
Whether it's spelled Leila, Laila, Layla, Leyla, or Leilah, I always pronounce it LAY-la. It's a pretty name, but I think anyone who uses it needs to be prepared to correct people who pronounce it differently.
