[Opinions] Re: Some Celtic names, WDYT?
Which of the names *have* you seen on younger generations, and which are usable? Do you think names like Shelagh and Elspeth are dated in a bad way or in a good way? Like, in the U.S., a name like Louisa would be dated in a good way, but Linda in a bad way. I'm assuming you're from Scotland, given your comment about meeting people with those names.

Yeah I'm from Scotland. Well from those names I've seen these on the younger generations:

Aisling
Caoimhe
Carys
Emer
Fiona
Maeve
Niamh (a few times)
Rhiannon
Roisin
Sinead (quite popular here)
Siobhan (same as Sinead)I would say those are all usable, the other ones on your list I haven't really heard of or met anyone with those names so I can't comment on their usability. But Shelagh and Elspeth which are particularly dated in Scotland might hold a sort of charm if you're from elsewhere. I don't know, but here they are dated in a bad way.
