It is 1935. The entire family has been affected by the downturn in the economy, but they have pulled together and are doing all right. Bob still volunteers at the charity hospital, which is busier than ever. Victoria and Henry have suffered a bit because of the bank collaspses in the community, but they had a bunch of money saved away. Andrew and Amelia have also had to cut back their generous lifestyle. They have had two more children in the past five years, Anna and Owen. Jamie married a southern belle from North Carolina named Ella Davis. He and Ella have a son, Frankie.
