It has been seven years. Wil and Bekah are getting up there in years. Wil just retired last year from his construction management job and he is now content to read and catch up on movies. He and Bekah visit their local senior center once or twice a week and have lots of plans with their kids and grandkids (and sometimes the great-grandkids too).
Matt and Rosie's family is doing well. It has grown a lot in the past seven years--all three of their kids are now married and two have kids of their own.
Amber and Eddie's kids are growing up too. Jeremy has plans to join the Marines next year and he has been involved in his high school's ROTC program since freshman year. Stella is in her senior year of college and has plans to be married next summer to a Spanish man named Sergio Juan Carlos.
Joey and Jennie's family is doing well too. They adopted twin boys from Mexico last summer and they are adjusting well to life in the US.
Emma and Samuel's family is growing up fast. Now Jake is the only one at home, and he plans to enlist in the Navy within a year or two. Noah and Nora have three children now--one boy and two girls. Ryan and Riley have been doing just fine on their own, but Ryan is now married. He and his wife of one year are hoping to adopt children unwanted by teenage parents since both of them have been through that experience. Ryan's wife has a ten year old daughter. Jenny and Liam are both in college, but neither is seeing anyone right now.
Alice and Cliff's family is also doing all right. Katie and Alex are both in high school now and the two of them want to be in a band--Katie plays the guitar and sings while Alex plays the drums.
Sara and Carl had triplets four years ago after undergoing fertility treatments. Needless to say, they're done having kids.
Elena still lives with Wil and Bekah, but she spends her days either at the sheltered workshop or at the adult day care and basically comes home for dinner and sleeping. She likes it though.
Jason and Mari have been busy with their five boys. Jason retired from playing professional hockey last year and is a television analyst now. Their eldest son Todd now plays hockey in the minor leagues, and all of his brothers want to follow in his footsteps.
Alan and Martha Ann are enjoying their kids. Shawn has plans to go to college after he graduates.
Mary and Tim have had a bit of a rough time lately. Mary was laid off from her secretarial position, but Tim published a book. Unfortunately, the book was not as well received as he had hoped and they barely had enough money to pay the bills. Now both Mary and Tim are looking for jobs. Mary is hoping to get a role in a new television series, and preliminary reports say she'll be the one to get it. Recently, their daughter Felicia ran away for a few days and came back announcing she was married. Well, she's only fourteen and Tim got the marriage annulled. Felicia also gave them another shocking bit of news--she's pregnant. Her baby isn't due for another six months or so, but Mary and Tim are in a frenzy preparing for it.
