My favourites are:
Boys:
Nathaniel
Isaac
Sebastian
Luca
Rosalie
Maude
Adele
Delia
Audrey
Madeleine
And as for the -LYN thing... I think it depends on what the name is. Evelyn would be fine but Carolyn would not. If it were me, I think I'd stay away from using an other -LYN name (unless I felt insanely in love with it and would die from sadness if I didn't use it), but I don't think it's awful to use one.
